		<description>There are many countries that participate on the visa waiver program and citizens can come to the USA for 90 days w/o a US visa. Under the visa waiver program a person cannot change the status. This would be in violation of the visa waiver and the individual would have to return to NZ and wait for visa approval.  This is a misconception people have. They think they can take a shortcut but USCIS will not approve it.</description>
